The Megayacht Group was established in April of 2006 by Mr Bradford Bean and Mr Arthur Barbeito and was formed to incorporate a team of professionals who have the same goal, the same passion, for creating and delivering an exemplary yacht to their customers.   

The Megayacht Group’s shipbuilding facility is based in Wuhan, China. The yard has the capacity to begin construction immediately, and has the skilled labour force and available space to start several subsequent yachts.  Wuhan is the cosmopolitan capital city of Hubei province. The facility covers more than 196,000 square meters, and has undercover fabrication and outfitting shops. 

Each project has a dedicated and experienced team of professional technicians, craftsman and project managers to provide an unsurpassed level of quality control and management. It is the intention from the outset to ensure only the very highest quality that would normally only be expected or indeed attainable by the European yacht yards. Each build team will be vessel specific to ensure quality, continuity and efficiency throughout the entire construction. The entire vessel will be built in China, utilizing only yacht quality equipment and machinery imported from suppliers worldwide.

Through its long term relationship with the yachting market, The Megayacht Group has developed the interest of several yacht customers. All have expressed their desire to build large yachts where quality is foremost, but are also willing to venture into a new and exciting economic and cultural environment for a cost effective alternative to many European facilities. Working alongside some of the top designers, architects, engineering and interior fabricators in the world, The Megayacht Group will oversee and use it's many years of yacht refitting and construction experience to maintain yacht quality standards as well as monitoring the financial expenditures of the new build process.
